  • Where they come from

Born from the earth, or born in a lab

Both are real diamonds — same crystal structure, same sparkle, same hardness. The only difference is how and where they formed.

    šŸ’Ž

    Natural Diamonds

Formed deep in the earth's mantle over 1 to 3 billion years under extreme heat and pressure, then carried to the surface by volcanic eruptions.

    • 1–3 billion years old
    • 100+ miles underground
    • Unique inclusions
    • Rare & finite
    šŸ”¬

    Lab grown diamonds

Created in a controlled environment using either High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT) or Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) — replicating exactly how nature does it, just faster.

    • Grown in weeks Identical crystal structure Chemically pure carbon Traceable origin
    "

"A gemologist cannot tell a natural and lab grown diamond apart with the naked eye — or even under a loupe. Both are graded by the same international standards."

Focus your budget on cut first — it has thebiggest impact on beauty. A well-cut G colour VS2 diamond will outshine apoorly cut D Flawless stone every time.

    Our recommendation for most people

    Choose a natural diamond if...

    • Sentimental origin matters to you. There's something meaningful to many people about wearing a stone that took a billion years to form. That story is real and irreplaceable.
    • You want an heirloom. For something passed down through generations, natural diamonds carry a cultural and emotional weight that resonates with many families.

Choose a lab grown diamond if...

    • Size and quality per dollar matter more. With the same budget, you can get a noticeably larger or higher-quality lab grown stone. That's a real, visible difference.
    • The diamond itself is the point, not the provenance. If you want the most beautiful stone your budget allows and the origin story isn't central to you, lab grown is hard to argue against.
    • You have ethical concerns about mining. Lab grown sidesteps land disruption and supply chain complexity entirely.
The 4 Cs — the universal language ofquality

    How diamonds are graded

Every diamond — natural or lab grown — is evaluated on the same four criteria by independent gemological labs like GIA and IGI.

    āœ‚ļø

    Cut

How well the diamond reflects light. The most important factor for brilliance. Ranges from Excellent to Poor.

    šŸŽØ

    Colour

Graded D (colourless) to Z (light yellow). Near-colourless (G–I) is the sweet spot for value and appearance for natural diamonds.

    šŸ”

    Clarity

Measures internal inclusions and surface blemishes on a scale from Flawless to Included. VS2 and above are eye-clean.

    āš–ļø

    Carat

The weight of the diamond. 1 carat = 0.2 grams. Larger stones are rarer, so price increases exponentially — not linearly.
